However, you can leverage the power of writing and understand how writing will help you write your own destiny by following some simple practices.

The thought of writing is intimidating many as we would start questioning our writing abilities. Most of us would realize that we are not good writers and hence never start writings. Some would say that they don’t have anything meaningful. Gal's and Guy's no one is expecting you to write a book!

Rules to get you started writing
  • You don’t have to worry about writing great stuff.
  • You are supposed to written bad sentences.
  • It is great if you are unable to understand what you wrote.
  • You don’t have to write interesting stuff
  • You don’t have to write meaningful stuff
  • You just have to write whatever comes to your mind.
  • You have to write on a pen and paper
  • Would not want you to be typing.
  • Writing is putting effort. The effort will give you a return which you will not see with writing digitally.
  • You have to write daily, if not daily at least once a week if not more
  • Most importantly you have to be consistent with this practice

Now that I am ready... What am I supposed to write?
  • Be unstructured in your writing ... there are no writings
  • Write about what bothers you ... what gives you confidence
  • Write about your fears ... your joys
  • Write about your goals .... aspirations
  • Write great stuff .... nonsensical stuff
  • Write about what you don’t have .... and what you have
  • Write about the ugly in you .... the beautiful in you
  • Just transfer all the noise in your mind on to the paper
  • Keep transferring all the noise in your mind on to the paper ... till you have nothing left to write

What next?
  • Keep writing daily, (if not daily then weekly)
  • Keep writing till the noise seems very familiar
  • Keep writing till the noise no longer makes you uncomfortable
  • Keep writing till the noise no longer scares you
  • Give theoretical solutions to solve the problems in your writings
  • Build theoretical plans to achieve your desires in your writings
  • Be friends with the noise in your head
  • It could take one to three weeks to be friends with the noise in your head.
  • Don't stop transferring all the noise in your mind on to the paper ... or else you will no longer be friends with your noise
  • Once the noise starts becoming friendlier ... it is easier to tackle the noise
  • Tackling a friend is easier than tackling an enemy
  • Read: Familiarity breeds Contempt

I am supposed to be ... Writing my own destiny
  • Once you have befriended the noise in your head it will be easier to tackle the issues creating noise
  • Focus on the theoretical solutions to solve the problems in your writings
  • Focus on the theoretical plans to achieve your desires in your writings
  • Make parts of your theoretical solutions and plans practical
  • Don’t worry if the parts which are made practical are very small
  • Be consistent with this practice
  • It is not a quick fix solution, even though it is an easy solution.

You are able to write your own destiny as writing helps you cut through the noise in your mind and go to the other side where the mind is calmer, clearer and confident. With your the noise in your mind no longer pulling you back you can increase your chances of success being calm, clear and confident in writing your own destiny.
